Job summary

The role involves providing technical leadership and support for mechanical engineering projects within data centers, focusing on the design, construction, and commissioning phases. The engineer will work collaboratively with various teams to optimize mechanical systems and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing construction projects in an international environment.
  • Familiarity with facility HVAC and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex mechanical project outcomes and integrate feedback from stakeholders.
  • Develop innovative processes and methods to address unique challenges.
  • Troubleshoot advanced mechanical systems and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Collaborate on cross-project procedures and ensure alignment with multiple teams.
  • Review Quality and Commissioning Plans and support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior-level executives and vendors.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Tools

  • Experience with data center equipment including switchgear, generators, and fire safety systems.
