Job summary

The role involves providing technical leadership and support for mechanical engineering projects within data centers, ensuring compliance with codes and standards while optimizing for efficiency. The engineer will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to drive project outcomes and contribute to the design and commissioning of advanced mechanical systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing construction projects in an international environment.
  • Experience with facility HVAC and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex mechanical project outcomes and integrate feedback from various stakeholders.
  • Develop new processes and methods to address identified problems with limited precedent.
  • Troubleshoot and commission advanced mechanical systems, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of procedures that align Mechanical Engineers' work with multiple projects.
  • Review Quality and Commissioning Plans and support Factory Acceptance Tests and commissioning activities.

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving, task prioritization, and scheduling abilities.
  • Excellent skills in requirement gathering and resource organization.
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and understand design and construction industry practices.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Tools

  • Familiarity with data center equipment and environments, including switchgear, generators, and fire safety systems.
