Cloud Engineer (On-site)

Job summary

The role involves designing, building, and operating cloud-native services for a platform that supports hearing solutions. Collaboration with product management, architects, and application teams is essential to create secure and scalable cloud services.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in developing backend or platform services in production environments.
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in backend languages such as C#/.NET, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD, automated testing, and Git-based workflows.
• Focus on reliability, maintainability, and security in solution design.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-native backend services and APIs for the platform.
• Translate product requirements into maintainable cloud solutions.
• Contribute to a modular platform architecture for reuse across products.
• Support infrastructure-as-code and deployment patterns in Azure.
• Build resilient services with logging, tracing, and metrics.
• Participate in operational support and incident analysis.
• Collaborate with test engineers for comprehensive testing coverage.
• Engage in agile, cross-functional team activities including backlog refinement and technical discussions.

Skills

• Experience with Azure services such as App Service, AKS, and Azure Functions.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures or microservices.
• Understanding of regulated environments and privacy requirements.
• Experience with observability tools like Application Insights or Prometheus.
• Ability to evaluate technical results and derive actionable insights.

Education

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Tools

• Microsoft Azure, GitHub Actions, CI/CD tools, observability tools.
