Data Analyst (On-site)

Job summary

The role involves supporting the integrity of a consumer review platform by analyzing data to prevent fraudulent activities and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The Data Analyst will work closely with various teams to deliver insights and analytics that enhance trust and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reporting best practices and delivering actionable insights using BI tools, particularly Looker.
• Strong stakeholder and project management skills with a proven ability to communicate results effectively.
• Advanced SQL skills, specifically with BigQuery.
• Experience in data modeling using DBT or similar tools for data pipeline construction.
• Familiarity with Python is a plus.
• Understanding of analytical methodologies, including regression and cohort analysis.
• Knowledge of Airflow and A/B testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for all regulatory and compliance reporting.
• Provide expert analytics and insights across various business units through both ongoing initiatives and ad-hoc requests.
• Develop data sets and dashboards to support Trust data integrity and audit requirements.
• Select appropriate analytical tools and methods to address specific problems.
• Collaborate with Comms, Investor Relations, Marketing, Compliance, and Trust teams to fulfill their data needs.
• Present findings and promote data-driven decision-making within the organization.
• Document project scopes and ensure standardization and automation of key reports to maintain data quality and governance.

Skills

• Advanced SQL and experience with BI tools (Looker).
• Data modeling experience (DBT or similar).
• Familiarity with analytical methodologies and tools (Airflow, Python, A/B testing).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in data analysis or a related field.
