Cybersecurity Manager

Job summary

The Cybersecurity Manager is responsible for ensuring cybersecurity assurance across various systems, supporting design maturity, approvals, and operational readiness. This role involves defining security requirements, managing vulnerability responses, and coordinating cybersecurity efforts across systems and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in OT, rail, or industrial cybersecurity, including hardening and vulnerability response.
• Knowledge of IEC 62443/NIS principles, secure architecture, and access management.
• Ability to balance security with safety and maintainability.
• Strong ethical judgment and technical credibility.
• Resilience under stress during security findings and configuration changes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a cybersecurity management plan, including risk assessments and hardening baselines.
• Coordinate cybersecurity across all systems and supplier configurations.
• Review supplier designs and manage logging, patching, and vulnerability handling.
• Plan security tests and support incident-response preparations.
• Assess the cybersecurity impact of changes and temporary configurations.
• Ensure compliance with the organization's Code of Conduct in all decisions.
• Manage vulnerability responses and maintain evidence quality.

Skills

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity controls and secure-change principles.
• Ability to escalate non-compliant security decisions and manage unresolved security risks.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity or related field.

Tools

• Familiarity with cybersecurity management tools and frameworks relevant to the rail and industrial sectors.
