About the role

Job summary

In this role, you will lead efforts to enhance patient engagement in the rare disease community, focusing on the adoption of innovative therapies. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders to ensure the successful launch and commercial performance of rare disease products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales and customer engagement within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
  • Strong relationship-building, project management, and market intelligence skills.
  • Familiarity with the rare disease landscape is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement customer engagement strategies to promote rare disease products.
  • Achieve sales targets through effective product promotion and education.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with healthcare professionals and budget holders, providing support and product insights.
  • Build and nurture relationships with specialty healthcare providers and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with Key Medical Experts on impactful engagement projects.
  • Initiate customer-focused projects, including educational and patient support initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to guide strategic decisions.
  • Work with Marketing, Medical, and Market Access teams to align engagement strategies.
  • Partner with the Customer Experience & Operations team to enhance customer journeys.
  • Explore innovative market access strategies for the rare disease sector.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and report on sales and engagement metrics.

  • Strong project development skills focused on delivering customer value.
  • Ability to navigate complex sales environments and meet targets in competitive settings.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred).

Tools

  • Familiarity with CRM software and market analysis tools is beneficial.
