Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing business operations and sales in Italy.
  • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical landscape and existing network with pharmacies and hospitals in Italy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in purchasing groups, hospitals, wholesalers, and pharmacies.
  • Secure the company's position as a preferred supplier of parallel-imported and generic products.
  • Manage tenders and ensure participation in hospital contracts.
  • Oversee portfolio management, pricing strategies, and stock levels to maximize profitability.
  • Lead and expand the Italian sales team, aligning efforts with headquarters.
  • Drive financial and production forecasting to meet local budget targets.

Skills

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in both Italian and English.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with sales management and CRM tools is advantageous.
