Commercial Manager

Job summary

This role involves overseeing the commercial responsibilities for offshore wind assets in Germany, focusing on contract management and commercial performance. The position is temporary and full-time for 18 months, requiring on-site presence.

Qualifications

• Degree in a commercial, legal, engineering, or similar field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in contract, commercial, or procurement roles, preferably in renewables or complex industries.
• Strong analytical skills and a commercial mindset.
• Experience with operational renewable energy assets.
• Proficiency in managing and negotiating contracts in English; German language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Site Management on commercial and financial matters.
• Provide commercial analysis to support operational decisions.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews.
• Manage operational contracts and monitor supplier performance.
• Drive improvements in commercial processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Skills

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with structure and prioritization.

Education

• A degree in a relevant field is required.

Tools

• Experience with contract management tools and performance monitoring systems is beneficial.
