Business Partner – Capex & Investment Analysis

Job summary

This role focuses on the intersection of finance, strategy, and investment decision-making within a leading Nordic data center company. The position involves analyzing investment cases, tracking project portfolio health, and advising on improvement actions while supporting strategic analysis for capital allocation opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering Economics, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Commercial Management, Investment Analysis, FP&A, Transaction Advisory, Infrastructure Finance, Investment Banking, or Private Equity.
• Experience with financial plans for large infrastructure or construction projects.
• Proficiency in ERP, EPM, BI, and reporting tools.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial plans for major investment initiatives.
• Identify options to optimize capital deployment for value maximization.
• Assess the financial viability of new sites, capacity expansions, and infrastructure projects.
• Support strategic decision-making with scenario modeling and business case development.
• Contribute to long-range planning and investment forecasting.
• Ensure consistency between operational assumptions, growth plans, and financial projections.
• Provide financial insight and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Analyze strategic options, risks, and trade-offs related to growth initiatives.
• Establish and maintain robust investment governance practices.
• Monitor investment performance against approved business cases.
