Business Operations Manager

Job summary

The Business Operations Manager will be instrumental in enhancing operational, financial, and commercial performance within a key customer partnership. This role involves collaboration across various functions and geographies to address complex business challenges and achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

• Higher education in Business, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in business operations, finance, supply, or customer-facing B2B roles, preferably in the ingredient or FMCG/CPG industries.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret data into actionable business insights.
• Experience in complex cross-functional organizations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for operational and selected commercial topics with customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain oversight of account financials, including profitability, rebates, and forecast accuracy.
• Manage account governance processes, including contracts and supply agreements.
• Ensure business continuity by identifying risks and coordinating responses to operational issues.
• Support commercial discussions and negotiations in alignment with the Account Director.
• Contribute insights to account planning and strategic decision-making.
• Identify growth opportunities and drive new product introductions.
• Support initiatives for partnership optimization, sustainability, and digitalization.

Skills

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and business performance data; experience with Power BI is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and reliable with strong follow-up discipline.
• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across functions.
• Curiosity about new technologies and their potential to enhance business performance.
• Proactive and solution-oriented, with a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
