Business Intelligence Engineer

Job summary

As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will design and develop data models, pipelines, and dashboards that support decision-making across the commercial department of a leading Nordic retailer. You will collaborate with analysts and business partners to create data solutions that drive commercial impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing BI solutions, data models, and pipelines.
• Strong SQL and scripting skills with practical experience in integrating data from various source systems.
• Proven end-to-end experience in delivering BI projects, including data models, KPIs, and dashboards.
• Ability to translate non-technical requirements into technical solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the BigQuery data infrastructure for commercial reporting.
• Develop Qlik Sense scripts and maintain dashboards.
• Lead the migration to Qlik Cloud.
• Integrate data from multiple source systems using SQL and ad-hoc extracts.
• Document data models, calculations, and mappings for transparency and maintainability.
• Collaborate with analysts and business partners to convert their requirements into robust data products.
