Job summary

The Business Development Representative is responsible for outbound prospecting and lead generation within the Nordics, focusing on Service Management, Asset Management, and ERP Applications. This role requires a proactive approach to engage potential clients and establish the company as a viable solution provider.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software telemarketing, inside sales, or related fields.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong understanding of software solutions and their benefits.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone.
  • Familiarity with contact management software, Excel, and Word.
  • Proficiency in a Nordic language (Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian) is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate valuable conversations based on research and understanding of prospects.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and automation for potential clients.
  • Utilize pre-call planning to tailor approaches to prospects.
  • Convert cold accounts into warm leads through targeted outreach.
  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives to arrange meetings and penetrate key accounts.
  • Navigate organizational hierarchies to reach decision-makers.
  • Customize messaging to highlight competitive advantages of the company's solutions.
  • Manage relationships with targeted accounts and develop ongoing opportunities.
  • Implement Account Based Marketing campaigns in coordination with sales and marketing teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts and update prospect statuses.

Skills

  • Strong ability to ask open-ended questions to uncover client needs.
  • High level of communication proficiency through various channels including calls, emails, and social media.

Education

  • Relevant experience in sales or business development is preferred.

Tools

  • Experience with contact management applications, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
