Business Development Manager (Sustainability, Remote)

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in commercial or business development roles, preferably in a B2B context with sustainability exposure.
• Strong understanding of the construction or building industry, including the needs of developers, contractors, specifiers, and architects.
• Proven ability to convert sustainability efforts into customer-relevant propositions that generate revenue.
• Excellent project management skills with experience in leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new commercial opportunities that leverage sustainability performance to create customer value.
• Develop tailored sustainability-driven value propositions based on data from sustainability initiatives.
• Build business case methodologies for sustainability as a commercial differentiator, including ROI frameworks and customer impact models.
• Collaborate with customers to integrate sustainability into account strategies and develop specific sustainability roadmaps.
• Participate in key customer meetings as the sustainability expert, supporting sales teams with strategic insights.
• Create and maintain a playbook of sustainability selling tools for customer interactions.
• Deliver training to customer-facing teams on sustainability trends and requirements.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in business development, sustainability, or a related field.
