Qualifications

  • Master’s degree and/or PhD in a relevant life science field (e.g., Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharma, Engineering) with strong business acumen.
  • Over 5 years of experience in business development, strategic project management, or consulting within biotechnology or related life sciences.
  • Proven track record in managing external commercial and technical relationships, including partnership deals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and validate market opportunities through customer engagements and industry events.
  • Create techno-economical assessments and develop business cases to evaluate strategic fit and feasibility.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and manage the venture lifecycle.
  • Lead projects and cross-functional teams to drive impactful business development initiatives.

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical insights to diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives independently.

Education

  • Advanced degree in life sciences or related fields.

Tools

  • Familiarity with market analysis tools and project management software.
