Business & Data Analysis Chapter Lead

Job summary

This role involves leading a global analysis function within a large organization focused on transport and logistics. The position is centered on building and managing a high-performing Business & Data Analysis chapter, ensuring alignment between business needs and data capabilities while driving high-quality analysis across the organization.

Qualifications

• Over 7 years of experience in business analysis and/or data/process mapping, preferably in logistics or supply chain.
• Proven experience in leading a chapter or community of practice, including people leadership and setting standards.
• Strong skills in requirement management, process and data mapping, and documentation aligned with enterprise standards.
• Experience in product-oriented environments using Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

Responsibilities

• Establish and drive standards, methods, and best practices for business and data analysis.
• Lead and develop a team of analysts to enhance quality and consistency.
• Ensure high-quality requirements and documentation across various domains.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment and support complex analysis efforts.
• Validate and challenge requirements to align with data strategies.
• Build a strong global analyst community through mentoring and knowledge sharing.

Skills

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in complex organizations.
• Ability to bridge business and technical stakeholders and translate complexity into actionable deliverables.
• Hands-on experience with process and data mapping, including source-to-target flows.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in business analysis or data management.

Tools

• Familiarity with data products and experience with Event Driven Data Mesh is a plus.
