Business Analyst (FP&A)

Job summary

We are looking for a motivated Business Analyst to join the FP&A team, engaging directly with senior leadership to support data-driven decision-making in a dynamic environment. This role offers significant visibility and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial analytics, FP&A, consulting, or business analysis, preferably within a SaaS, marketplace, or subscription model.
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI, with the ability to create reports and analytical views on modern data platforms.
• Familiarity with experimentation and hypothesis testing methodologies, including A/B testing and causal inference.
• Working knowledge of Python, particularly with libraries such as pandas and scikit-learn for building and interpreting models.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent structured problem-solving skills, capable of transforming open-ended questions into testable hypotheses.
• Interest in applied AI/ML techniques to enhance analytical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scenario analysis to guide strategic decisions at the leadership level.
• Support invoicing processes and enhance automation.
• Analyze raw data and translate business needs into data requirements, collaborating with technical teams.
• Design and evaluate commercial experiments to validate strategies before implementation.
• Utilize modeling techniques in Python to address commercial inquiries.
• Develop and improve Power BI reports using the Microsoft Fabric data platform for management and stakeholders.

Skills

• Strong analytical skills with experience in commercial analytics and FP&A.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
• Knowledge of Python for data analysis and modeling.
• Experience with experimentation methodologies.

Education

• Relevant degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred.
