Azure Cloud Engineer (Hørsholm)

Job summary

An experienced Azure Cloud Engineer is needed to join the Infrastructure team in Hørsholm, Denmark. The role involves collaborating with an Azure architect to build and maintain Azure infrastructure, utilizing Infrastructure as Code practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operational tasks such as creating subscriptions, VMs, backups, and patching with Azure Update Manager.
• Provide Azure guidance for projects, including troubleshooting and cost optimization.
• Automate daily operations using Azure DevOps pipelines and Azure Automation runbooks.
• Manage Azure Reservations and extend Azure cloud architecture documentation.
• Implement landing zone concepts in Terraform and Azure policies.
• Enhance Conditional Access rules and MFA implementation.
• Develop best practices for Azure documentation.
• Collaborate with IT on user, device, and security matters.
• Work with security products like Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
• Coordinate with local and global colleagues and liaise with clients as needed.

Qualifications

Personal skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience in Azure administration.
• Proficient in deploying, configuring, and maintaining Azure resources.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in Azure environments.
• Expertise in PowerShell scripting and automation tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficient in written and verbal English.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Strong service orientation and teamwork skills.
• Curious and eager to learn.
