Associate Valuation Manager

Job summary

The role of Associate Valuation Manager involves supporting investment decisions across various renewable energy sectors, including Offshore, Onshore, Solar, and Battery Business Units. You will create project valuations and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to maximize project value through insightful analyses and robust business cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, finance, science, or engineering
• 1-3 years of experience in financial modeling
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
• Good understanding of financial theory
• Confident Excel user with a desire to enhance skills
• Ability to analyze complex information and present it to non-finance audiences
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Resourceful and efficient
• Experience or interest in the renewables industry is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain complex financial models to assess project value
• Prepare and present economic and financial appraisals for various projects
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of inputs in business cases
• Collaborate with Risk, Opportunity, and Uncertainty Management
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to aid decision-making
• Conduct ad hoc analyses across projects and portfolios
• Evaluate acquisition, divestment, joint venture, and partnership opportunities
• Communicate results clearly to stakeholders

Skills

• Strong analytical skills

• Awareness of accounting and tax considerations
• Fluency in German is advantageous
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and interest in analytical coding is beneficial
