Associate, Portfolio Management (Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves supporting the management and performance oversight of Advanced Bioenergy Funds (ABF) within a global fund manager focused on energy infrastructure investments. The Associate will work closely with various teams to enhance portfolio performance and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
• 1-4 years of relevant experience in investment management, portfolio management, corporate finance, consulting, or a similar analytical role

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze portfolio performance across ABF
• Maintain and enhance portfolio models, dashboards, and reporting tools
• Prepare materials for investment committees, senior management, and investor reporting
• Conduct financial analysis, scenario modeling, and forecasting
• Track key performance indicators and market trends
• Identify risks and opportunities within the portfolio
• Collaborate with investment teams and asset managers
• Assist in preparing portfolio reviews and fund-level presentations
• Contribute to process improvements and best-practice frameworks

Skills

• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint
• Strong financial modeling skills and understanding of valuation and performance analysis
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with AI tools and data analytics is a plus
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams
