Assistant Category Manager (Procurement, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves supporting the growth of the Air business by joining the Air Procurement team. The Assistant Category Manager will engage in strategic sourcing, data analytics, supplier management, and digital innovation to enhance procurement performance and contribute to the airline platform's development.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Business Analytics, Airline Operations, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data, reporting, and business insights.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar tools is advantageous.
• Interest in data science, automation, Artificial Intelligence, and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing events, contract negotiations, and supplier management activities across Air Procurement categories.
• Provide spend transparency, performance reporting, and procurement insights through data analytics.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define sourcing requirements and procurement strategies.
• Support the implementation of category strategies and supplier governance frameworks.
• Contribute to procurement digitalization initiatives and the deployment of AI-enabled tools.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
