Accounting & Tax Specialist (Northern Europe)

Job summary

The role involves supporting a high-performing finance function across Northern Europe, ensuring financial compliance and integrity while contributing to the standardization and efficiency of accounting and tax processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Relevant experience in Accounting, Tax, and Financial Reporting
• Solid knowledge of IFRS, USGAAP, and local GAAP
• Experience in an international or shared services environment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting across Northern Europe markets
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain a strong and well-controlled financial environment
• Assist in tax compliance activities and regulatory reporting
• Manage relationships with auditors, tax authorities, and advisors
• Collaborate with local finance teams and global stakeholders
• Review and support accounting operations across GL, AP, and AR processes
• Drive standardization, automation, and efficiency improvements
• Deliver consistent and high-quality accounting and tax processes across multiple markets
