About the role

Job summary

An experienced New Business Salesperson is sought to join a successful sales team focused on selling software solutions to new and existing clients. The role involves managing the full sales cycle and driving new business across assigned territories.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in full sales cycle, with a proven track record in software or scientific/engineering hardware sales.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, MIS, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong ability to analyze territory dynamics and develop effective sales plans.
  • Experience in uncovering and developing sales opportunities in new and existing accounts.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the territory and occasionally internationally.
  • Right to work in the UK or Denmark.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and create opportunities aligned with the customer profile.
  • Prospect within the assigned territory to uncover business needs.
  • Develop and execute territory and account management plans.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to manage the sales process effectively.
  • Prepare quotations and proposals, and finalize contracts with relevant departments.
  • Engage with senior decision-makers to ensure customer satisfaction and identify additional revenue opportunities.
  • Follow security policies to support secure software development goals.

Skills

  • Proficient in sales techniques and understanding software acquisition cycles.
  • Strong communication skills for conveying technical and business concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Competence in creating demand through insights and advancing sales discussions.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with software sales tools and CRM systems is beneficial.
