WMS Product Owner (Logistics)

Job summary

In this leadership role, you will oversee the development and management of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) within the logistics sector, ensuring alignment between people, processes, and solutions across Distribution Centers in Europe.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with warehouse management systems, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Background as an IT project manager or in a similar capacity, ideally related to WMS.
• Strong stakeholder management abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to drive results and enhance quality, efficiency, and performance.
• Solid understanding of logistics flows and warehouse operations.
• Ability to balance value, cost, risk, and effort in decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop your team to achieve high performance and engagement.
• Ensure the stability and continuous improvement of WMS solutions.
• Own and prioritize the Team Backlog to maximize business value.
• Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders.
• Serve as line manager for a business solution specialist within the scrum team.
• Facilitate high-quality delivery through timely decision-making and clear direction.
• Drive refinement and alignment for shared understanding across teams.

Education

• Relevant educational background in logistics, IT, or related fields is preferred.

• Familiarity with WMS and IT systems relevant to logistics operations.
