Job summary

The Senior Global Product Manager for the ABL90 Blood Gas Portfolio is responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from innovation to end-of-life, contributing to market growth and positioning through strategic product management. This role involves translating customer and market insights into actionable product strategies and business cases that enhance value in acute care diagnostics.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in engineering, Life Sciences, Biomedical, or Business/Economics (or equivalent experience)
  • Extensive product management experience in in vitro diagnostics, medical devices, or related healthcare technology
  • Proven track record in leading product development projects and global product launches, including go-to-market strategies
  • Experience in developing business cases, pricing strategies, and managing portfolio economics
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across global R&D, commercial, and clinical teams

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute product strategy for the ABL90 portfolio, including scope and solution direction
  • Convert customer, clinical, and market insights into product requirements and new applications
  • Develop business cases and pricing strategies to support investment decisions
  • Lead global go-to-market strategies, including value propositions and commercial enablement
  • Collaborate with R&D, Medical Affairs, Project Management, Marketing, and regional teams
  • Monitor portfolio performance through KPIs, revenue tracking, and margin analysis
  • Support demand forecasting and supply planning using data-driven processes

Skills

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Proficiency in managing cross-functional teams

Education

  • Master’s degree in relevant fields; advanced degrees (PhD or MBA) are a plus

Tools

  • Familiarity with Danaher Business System (DBS) or similar lean methodologies is advantageous
  • Experience with regulatory frameworks relevant to acute care diagnostics is beneficial
