VP Sales (Healthcare, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves leading the sales organization across Europe, specifically in the Nordics, UK&I, and DACH regions, with a focus on achieving new business targets and optimizing commercial operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in selling and leading teams for large, complex contracts through public sector tenders and RFPs.
• Proven track record of exceeding new business quotas and closing high-value contracts.
• Experience managing and developing sales leaders and teams across multiple European territories.
• Ability to influence and close critical deals while optimizing the sales organization.
• Strong data-driven approach to sales management and governance.
• 12+ years in enterprise sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; willingness to travel across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the European sales organization, ensuring accountability for business targets.
• Optimize the commercial operating cadence, including pipeline generation and performance management.
• Act as a hands-on leader for significant deals, participating in customer meetings and presentations.
• Develop go-to-market strategies tailored to each territory and evaluate new market opportunities.
• Recruit and onboard commercial talent as the organization scales.
• Represent the company at industry conferences and refine go-to-market strategies.
