Vice President, Head of Thickening

Job summary

The Head of Thickening is responsible for the global business performance and growth of Thickener product offerings, overseeing the entire product lifecycle, including Capital equipment and Upgrades & Rebuilds. This role manages the global P&L, commercial strategy, market positioning, pricing strategy, and product roadmap, aiming for aggressive volume growth while ensuring profitability and customer value.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in mining, minerals processing, capital equipment, or industrial technology sectors.
• Significant experience with thickening technologies and dewatering solutions.
• Proven success in managing a global business or product line with a focus on growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Own the global P&L for the Thickeners portfolio, including revenue and profitability metrics.
• Develop and execute long-term business strategies for Capital and Upgrades & Rebuilds.
• Lead a global team of Product Managers and Engineers to drive performance and accountability.
• Define and implement global commercial strategies and pricing for Capital and U&R offerings.
• Monitor market dynamics and customer trends to identify growth opportunities.

• Ability to engage with customers and challenge assumptions effectively.
• Experience in driving business growth and managing complex organizations.

Education

• Relevant degree in engineering, business, or a related field is preferred.
