Test Engineer (Networking, Roskilde)

Job summary

Seeking a motivated Test Engineer to conduct system-level testing of advanced networking interconnect solutions in a lab setting. The role involves hands-on work and collaboration with a Hardware Interconnect team in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as C++ or Python
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to independently manage tasks
• Team-oriented with effective communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed manual and automated test plans in a laboratory environment
• Reproduce reported issues, conduct investigations, and utilize bug tracking systems
• Drive issue resolution by coordinating fixes, re-testing, and validating outcomes
• Define and maintain test scopes and qualification plans
• Develop or enhance tools, applications, or workflows to improve test coverage and efficiency
• Participate in continuous integration and deployment testing with rapid development cycles
• Contribute to the development of test automation software

Skills

• Experience with qualification and validation test processes, including planning, execution, and reporting
• Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems, configuration, and testing
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols such as TCP, UDP, and DHCP
• Scripting skills in Bash or Perl
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
