Tender Manager (Offshore Wind Industry)

Job summary

The role involves managing the tender process in the offshore wind sector, acting as the primary contact for clients and subcontractors. The Tender Manager will oversee the preparation and delivery of commercial aspects of tender packages, ensuring compliance with client requirements and internal processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BSc) in a commercial discipline or engineering is preferred.
• Minimum of two years of relevant industry experience, with a focus on commercial and contractual matters.
• Experience in contract negotiations and stakeholder management is essential.
• Familiarity with Wind Turbine Installation Vessel (WTIV) operations is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead the tender process, ensuring all steps are completed as per the Tender Process Manual.
• Develop and present the commercial strategy, pricing, risk analysis, and supporting documentation for tenders.
• Coordinate the tender process, meeting milestones and resolving challenges.
• Communicate significant changes to stakeholders promptly.
• Collaborate with Contract Management and Legal teams during negotiations.
• Manage the approval process for tenders and contracts, securing necessary approvals from management.
• Foster client relationships and support market expansion efforts.
