Tender Manager (Energy Sector, Hamburg)

Job summary

The role involves leading the development of proposals and tender submissions in the renewable energy sector, specifically focusing on Energy from Waste, Bioenergy, and Carbon Capture. The position is based in Hamburg, with potential for other locations in Germany or Copenhagen.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience, ideally in energy infrastructure projects.
• Strong proposal-writing skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-focused mindset with high ownership and structured work approach.
• Fluency in German and effective communication skills in English.
• Strong teamwork and project management abilities.
• Experience in bid and tender management, preferably in the energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the preparation of high-quality proposals in collaboration with technical experts and project managers.
• Manage tender teams and facilitate bid planning and strategy workshops.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and internal governance in tender processes.
• Act as the main author of proposals, structuring and finalizing bid documents.
• Coordinate contributions from technical specialists and manage risks in collaboration with project owners.
• Lead pricing strategies to ensure competitive offers.
• Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and support Key Account Managers.
