Tender Manager (Energy Sector, Copenhagen/Hamburg)

Job summary

The role involves leading the development of proposals and tender submissions in the renewable energy sector, particularly focusing on German clients. The Tender Manager will work closely with technical experts and project managers to ensure high-quality, compliant proposals are submitted on time.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience, ideally in energy infrastructure projects.
• Strong proposal-writing skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Customer-focused mindset with high ownership and structured work approach.
• Fluency in German and effective communication skills in English.
• Strong teamwork and project management abilities.
• Experience in bid and tender management, preferably in the energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate preparation of proposals and tender submissions.
• Mobilize and manage tender teams, ensuring timely submissions.
• Manage tender opportunities through internal approval processes.
• Act as the main author of proposals, structuring and finalizing bid documents.
• Coordinate contributions from technical specialists to ensure proposal alignment with client requirements.
• Identify and manage commercial, contractual, and technical risks.
• Act as pricing lead to ensure competitive offers.
• Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and support Key Account Managers.

Skills

• Strong proposal-writing and communication skills.
• Ability to bridge technical and sales functions.
• Proficiency in MS Dynamics, PowerPoint, and InDesign is a plus.

Education

• Degree in engineering or equivalent qualification.
