Job summary

This role involves leveraging engineering expertise to develop competitive technical proposals for offshore wind projects, contributing to the renewable energy sector. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure technical solutions are both feasible and commercially viable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an engineering role within the wind or offshore industry.
  • Familiarity with Foundations T&I projects and jack-up vessels is a plus.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality technical documentation, including method statements, vessel programs, technical drawings, and layouts to enhance bids.
  • Conduct tender-stage engineering tasks such as vessel positioning, deck layouts, site assessments, and lifting arrangements.
  • Develop templates, tools, and methodologies to streamline the tendering process.
  • Collaborate with Project Engineers, Vessel Crews, Clients, and Suppliers to ensure compliance and quality in technical packages.
  • Support sales meetings and presentations with structured technical insights that emphasize commercial benefits.

Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D or 3D modeling and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong commercial awareness in developing technical solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly.

Education

  • BSc or MSc in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering, or equivalent.

Tools

  • AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
