Technical Product Manager (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves leading the technical product management for the core transaction path within a financial technology platform. The focus is on ensuring the seamless execution of payments from initiation to settlement while maintaining high standards of reliability and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and APIs.
• Experience in building platform capabilities or complex distributed systems, particularly in payments or fraud/risk infrastructure.
• Proven ability to drive delivery velocity and manage dependencies across multiple domains.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the accountable product leader for the transaction rail, ensuring alignment and execution across teams.
• Optimize handoffs between domains to enhance payment execution and reconciliation processes.
• Define platform features that facilitate client onboarding with minimal coding effort.
• Maintain a high standard of quality assurance across all domains in the transaction rail.
• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers to eliminate silos and promote collaboration.
• Foster a culture of ownership and accountability within the teams.
• Use structured frameworks to prioritize and execute on product roadmaps.

Skills

• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices and event-driven platforms.
• Experience with cloud-native/serverless technologies and programming languages such as Kotlin or Go.

Education

• Relevant degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in product management within technology-driven environments.

Tools

• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools used in agile environments.
