Technical Product Manager (Defence, Aarhus)

Job summary

The role involves leading the technical direction of interoperability standards within the Defence division, focusing on ensuring that allied defence systems communicate effectively across various platforms and coalitions.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years of experience in product management or similar roles, particularly with development teams.
• A master’s degree in a relevant field, with a preference for analytical depth over specific disciplines.
• Proven experience with technical standards and interoperability, ideally in defence or C4ISR contexts, though experience from other industries is also acceptable.
• Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written; knowledge of Danish is a plus.
• A curious and analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex technical matters for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Track and evaluate changes to interoperability standards and assess new ones, aligning with the Business Product Manager on roadmap priorities.
• Collaborate closely with the Business Product Manager, lead architects, and development teams to ensure solutions meet technical and business needs.
• Conduct market research and engage with domain experts, sales teams, and customers to identify changes to standards and their impacts on products.
• Provide technical product guidance to Sales and Services during proposal work.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on interoperability, maintaining clear communication on standards-related topics.

• Familiarity with interoperability standards such as MIP, LINK 16, and NFFI is advantageous.
