Job summary

Seeking a Technical AI Safety Specialist to develop hands-on expertise in engineering-focused AI risk areas, including AI gateway architecture, MCP servers, and cybersecurity implications of AI capabilities. The role involves collaborating with engineering, architecture, and information security teams to provide governance guidance and technical risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or security engineering.
• Extensive experience with AI/ML system architectures and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with API gateways and agentic protocols.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles related to AI systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms in an AI context.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain technical knowledge of AI risk areas and governance.
• Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to translate technical insights into governance guidance.
• Monitor emerging AI developments and assess their implications.
• Author technical documents for diverse audiences.
• Provide technical input to governance frameworks and engage with stakeholders.
