Job summary

The role involves leading the development of retail tools utilized by a large number of colleagues in stores globally. The Team Leader will translate strategic goals into actionable priorities, manage a team of Product Owners, and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance retail operations through IT solutions.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of leadership experience in IT development, preferably within the retail sector.
  • Strong knowledge of retail tools such as POS systems, retail administration, and workforce management.
  • Experience in leading independent specialists or Product Owners.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across different cultures and organizational levels.
  • Structured, fact-based, and goal-oriented work approach.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Product Owners focused on retail tools.
  • Ensure continuous development and optimization of retail tools by exploring new trends and best practices.
  • Maintain team well-being, performance, and skills development.
  • Prioritize and manage team backlogs in collaboration with Product Owners.
  • Clearly describe business requirements prior to development.
  • Contribute to the annual business plan and long-term retail strategy.
  • Act as a liaison between Retail Operations and IT development.
