Job summary

As a Team Leader in the Retail Center of Excellence, you will oversee the development of retail tools used by a large number of colleagues globally. Your role involves translating strategic goals into actionable priorities while leading a team of Product Owners and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of leadership experience in IT development, preferably within the retail sector.
  • Strong knowledge of retail tools such as POS systems, retail administration, and workforce management.
  • Experience in leading independent specialists or Product Owners.
  • Proficient in English with clear communication skills across different cultures and organizational levels.
  • Structured, fact-based, and goal-oriented work approach.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Product Owners focused on retail tools.
  • Ensure continuous development and optimization of retail tools by exploring new trends and best practices.
  • Maintain team well-being, skills, and performance.
  • Prioritize and manage team backlogs in collaboration with Product Owners.
  • Clearly describe business requirements prior to development.
  • Contribute to the yearly business plan and long-term retail strategy.
  • Act as a liaison between Retail Operations and IT development.

Skills

  • Leadership and team management.

  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, SAP, and Microsoft Office.

Education

  • Relevant educational background in IT or retail management is preferred.
