About the role

Job summary

This role focuses on managing supply planning, forecasting, and purchasing within a circular business model for furniture. The Supply Planner & Buyer will connect customer demand with stock levels and purchasing to ensure product availability for installations.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, purchasing, or inventory planning.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a solid understanding of inventory management and product availability.
  • Hands-on experience with suppliers and managing purchase orders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a consolidated product forecast and need plan based on sales and installation demand.
  • Place and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely follow-up on confirmations and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain operational communication with suppliers, tracking performance and addressing delivery issues.
  • Monitor central warehouse stock levels and identify supply risks, recommending actions as needed.
  • Consolidate regional demand into a global supply view and lead Sales & Supply Planning discussions.
  • Ensure accurate purchasing and supplier master data, supporting the onboarding of new products and suppliers.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for supply constraints, including substitutions and allocation decisions.

Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and a structured approach to cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to identify risks early and drive resolutions effectively.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with supply chain management software and data analysis tools is beneficial.
