Job summary

This role involves sourcing raw materials and reagents to support manufacturing operations at a facility in Denmark. The position is part of a local procurement team and requires collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders while managing the procure-to-pay process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of procurement or purchasing experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or life sciences sectors.
  • Experience in supplier management, sourcing, contract negotiation, and ERP systems in a regulated environment.
  • Fluent in English with effective communication skills in a multicultural organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to build collaborative relationships across functions and cultures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end purchasing process for materials.
  • Issue and manage purchase orders in ERP systems (SAP, Ariba).
  • Monitor order status, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.
  • Resolve shipment delays, shortages, and invoice discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate procurement and supplier records.
  • Analyze quotations and negotiate pricing and terms.
  • Drive cost savings initiatives and recommend sourcing improvements.
