Job summary

This role involves ensuring a strong supplier risk assessment framework as part of a 12-month contract based in Billund. The Supplier Risk Assessment Specialist will support the Procurement Transformation team in enhancing operational efficiencies and managing supplier risks effectively.

Qualifications

  • Recent graduate in business, data science, supply chain, economics, or a related field
  • Interest in data, automation, and digital procurement
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; eagerness to learn Power BI and other digital tools
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Responsibilities

  • Execute the supplier risk assessment and monitoring process, identifying and mitigating various risks across the supplier base
  • Drive risk mitigation initiatives in collaboration with Procurement Category Managers and stakeholders
  • Utilize supplier risk management systems to ensure accurate data and effective reporting
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management frameworks and governance processes
  • Support digital enablement initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation and standardization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and manage supplier risks

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; willingness to learn new tools
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Education

  • Recent degree in a relevant field such as business, data science, or supply chain
