Student Worker - Sales Engineering (Marine Industry, Aalborg)

Job summary

This position combines engineering, sales, and product development, focusing on translating customer needs into viable technical solutions within the marine sector. The role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure product fit while considering technical limitations, costs, and performance.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with plans to start a Master's in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Mechanical, Fluid, and/or Process engineering is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a similar student worker role within the industrial sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the technical evaluation of customer requirements alongside the lead Sales Engineer, aligning them with available solutions in the marine portfolio.
• Support complex quotation processes, including calculations, technical specifications, and solution design.
• Engage in customer projects through internal meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Product Management, and Engineering & Supply to define competitive solutions for sales projects.
• Develop and utilize technical documentation and internal processes.
• Contribute recent academic knowledge and theories to the team.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ongoing or completed) with a focus on Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
