Student Assistant (Procurement, Hillerød)

Job summary

The role involves supporting sustainability initiatives within the Global Sourcing & Procurement organization, focusing on data-driven sustainable sourcing and procurement processes. As a Student Assistant, you will engage in sustainability analytics, supplier outreach, and practical procurement support to help reduce environmental impact.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a Bachelor’s or Master’s student at a Danish educational institution, ideally with at least 2 years remaining.
• Strong interest or focus in sustainability, sourcing & procurement, supply chain, or process optimization.
• Foundational understanding of Scope 1, 2, and especially Scope 3 emissions in a procurement context.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with large datasets.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and analytics/visualization tools (e.g., Excel; experience with Alteryx and Tableau is a plus).
• Clear communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sustainability projects, focusing on Scope 3 emissions and reduction initiatives.
• Identify and evaluate innovative “green” solutions aligned with sustainability strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote sustainable practices across global sites.
• Monitor data quality, optimize processes, and analyze results for continuous improvement.
• Provide ad hoc support in sourcing and procurement, including supplier research and sustainability questionnaires.
• Conduct basic spend and category analyses to support decision-making.
• Contribute to additional projects that advance Procurement Excellence and sustainability goals.

Skills

Education

• Enrollment in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s program at a Danish institution.
