Student Assistant, Pharmacometrics

Job summary

This role is for a university student with programming skills in R and LaTeX, aimed at supporting drug development within a pharmaceutical company. The position is located in Hellerup and involves hands-on experience in the Pharmacometrics department.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program, ideally in statistics, mathematics, data science, bioinformatics, biomedicine, pharmacy, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of university studies completed, with 2 years remaining.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and clinical time-series data.
• Strong programming skills in R (e.g., dplyr, tidyverse) and preferably experience with LaTeX (e.g., knitr, hyperref, cleveref).
• Detail-oriented with a scientific mindset, capable of writing efficient and structured code.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop R and LaTeX templates.
• Support quality control of regulatory documents and calculations.

• Interest in pharmacometrics and drug development is a plus.
• Familiarity with non-linear fixed effects modeling (NONMEM) and differential equations is beneficial.

• Approximately 4-8 hours per week, with flexibility during exam periods.
