Student Assistant, Merchandise Planning

Job summary

This role involves supporting the Merchandise Planning team in a global retail environment, focusing on new product launches and data management. The position offers hands-on experience in merchandising, planning, and supply chain operations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
• Ideally have at least 1 year remaining in studies.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI is a plus.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Merchandise Planning team with daily operations related to new product introductions.
• Maintain and validate product and planning data for accuracy.
• Prepare reports and analyses to support business insights and decision-making.
• Track product launch processes and key milestones across global markets.
• Monitor data quality and identify discrepancies in planning tools.
• Coordinate inputs from global and regional stakeholders across various functions.
• Support the creation of process documentation and planning guidelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and administrative tasks as needed.
