Student Assistant (Indirect Procurement)

Job summary

This role involves supporting the Global Indirect Procurement team, particularly in global travel management. The position focuses on implementing new solutions and assisting stakeholders with travel-related activities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a relevant degree, preferably in Service Management, Tourism and Hospitality Management, Supply Chain Management, or similar fields.
• Professional interest in the travel industry, with experience in the airline/hotel sector or a travel management company being advantageous.
• Strong service orientation and effective communication skills across diverse cultures and organizational levels.
• Proficient in Excel with analytical skills to derive insights and communicate key messages.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Team player with a proactive approach and commitment to quality.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing a new online travel portal.
• Provide first-line support for internal stakeholders on travel-related requests.
• Maintain and update traveler profiles in the online booking tool.
• Support system configuration and validate negotiated rates.
• Prepare travel reports and KPIs related to spending and compliance.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute new ideas.
• Collaborate with colleagues domestically and internationally.

Education
