Job summary

This position involves supporting the Corporate Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team in creating a safe chemical working environment while gaining valuable experience in HSE practices. The role is designed for a student who can work approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility around academic commitments.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an MSc program in engineering, chemistry, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Foundational understanding of chemistry; knowledge of chemical regulations or toxicological assessment methods is advantageous.
  • Comfortable navigating IT systems, with experience in SharePoint or similar tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and update safety data sheets for chemicals across the organization.
  • Support the regulatory chemical safety team with projects, data analysis, information gathering, and communication.
  • Assist in planning and executing seminars, webinars, meetings, and information campaigns.
  • Provide administrative support to the HSE department manager and assist with various departmental projects and tasks.

  • Strong organizational skills and a responsible mindset to meet business deadlines.

Education

  • Enrollment in a relevant MSc program.
