Job summary

This position is for a student assistant in the Fleet Technology department, focusing on projects related to the digitalization, decarbonization, and electrification of shipping. The role involves part-time work (15-20 hours per week) and aims to support the transition towards sustainable vessel operations.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a master's program in naval, mechanical, or electrical engineering at a Danish university, having completed a bachelor's degree.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand and address engineering challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; presentation experience is a plus.
  • A collaborative mindset, valuing team success over individual achievements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers in preparing technical materials and structuring technical inputs.
  • Maintain structured data inputs and ensure data consistency and accuracy.
  • Support documentation efforts, including report preparation and document organization.
  • Provide general support for various engineering tasks and assist with ad-hoc activities.

Skills

  • Proficiency in data handling and documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Education

  • Enrollment in a relevant master's degree program in engineering.

Tools

  • Familiarity with engineering software and data management tools is beneficial.
