Student Assistant (Energy Trading, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves supporting the Origination and Contract Management team within an international energy trading company focused on renewable energy. The position is designed for students who wish to contribute to the energy transition while gaining valuable industry experience.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in business, natural sciences, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Enjoy working with data; experience with Python or R is preferred. Knowledge of SQL and TypeScript/Angular is a plus.
• Structured and independent work style with a proactive approach.
• Excellent Italian language skills and good proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

What We Offer

• Assist in handling pricing requests for wind and solar energy assets.
• Process, analyze, and visualize production data.
• Communicate with operators of wind and solar parks.
• Support contract management activities.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal tools using Python and TypeScript/Angular.
• Bring and develop ideas related to market analyses, new business initiatives, and internal projects.

• Location: Copenhagen or Aalborg, Denmark.
• Minimum working hours of 12 hours per week.
