Student Assistant - Commercial Intelligence & Inside Sales

Job summary

This role involves enhancing the quote follow-up process in the aerospace spares market, focusing on converting quotes into orders and gathering market intelligence. The Student Assistant will serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams, driving quote conversions and identifying business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commercial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a polite phone manner.
• Comfortable with outbound phone calls and direct customer interaction.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage a high volume of quoted parts.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German, French, or Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively follow up with customers and brokers on part quotes to gather status updates and feedback.
• Document detailed feedback on lost quotes, including pricing gaps and competitor moves, and relay this information to Product Management.
• Identify promising leads and negotiate revised offers with Product Management to secure orders.
• Maintain accurate data in the system and track key metrics to demonstrate business impact.

Education
