Job summary

This role involves supporting sourcing activities for automated logistics solutions within a global manufacturing network. The position is based in Billund, Denmark, and focuses on procurement for High Bay Warehouse (HBW) and automated logistics projects.

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering, automation, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain, or a related technical field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in engineering, project management, manufacturing procurement, sourcing, or automation-related work.
• Strong interest in automated logistics and warehouse automation.
• Good analytical skills for data handling and supplier comparisons.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn procurement fundamentals.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing activities, including supplier research, request for quotation preparation, and contract administration.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to define technical requirements.
• Conduct supplier market analysis for automated logistics technologies.
• Prepare data and insights to assist category managers and project teams.
• Participate in supplier meetings and negotiation preparations.
• Ensure compliance with purchase processes and maintain communication with stakeholders.
