About the role

Job summary

As a Solutions Engineer, you will engage in SaaS data protection, working closely with a global team to shape products and guide customers in data protection and cyber threat recovery strategies.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales, with pre-sales experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with OEM, Channel, and Vendor ecosystems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple decision-makers effectively.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft O365 and a strong understanding of Microsoft Azure.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based SaaS applications and MEDDIC or MEDPICC methodologies is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 50-75%.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations both virtually and in person.
  • Manage and implement Proof of Concepts (POCs) for successful technical closure.
  • Maintain Salesforce documentation rigorously.
  • Support lead-generation initiatives, including events and webinars.
  • Collaborate with customers to translate business objectives into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise on data protection through independent consultations.
  • Partner with the sales team to secure new clients and partners.
  • Offer pre-sales support for customers evaluating the backup solution.
  • Relay customer feedback and insights to Product Management.

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
