Job summary

The Software Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of video, speak, and headset product ranges throughout their lifecycle. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality assurance processes, identify and resolve quality issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Experience in software quality management, software testing, or software development for embedded, real-time, or communication systems
  • Extensive experience with software test strategy, design, and methods (both functional and non-functional)
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous testing practices
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills for data and defect pattern analysis
  • Clear communication skills for presenting quality and risk topics to stakeholders
  • Ability to constructively challenge plans and decisions based on data
  • Familiarity with collaboration and issue-tracking tools

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain software quality acceptance criteria in collaboration with Product Management and Development teams
  • Review test plans and cases to ensure an efficient, risk-based testing approach
  • Monitor software quality metrics to identify risks and areas for improvement
  • Prepare quality status and risk reports for management
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure quality is integrated from design through release
  • Conduct root cause analysis for significant software defects
  • Improve software quality frameworks and support Beta testing
  • Integrate lessons learned into acceptance criteria and testing methods

Education
