Job summary

The role involves maintaining the stability and reliability of essential services within Renewable Energy Trading & Optimisation Operations. The Site Reliability Engineer will contribute to incident management, service management, and automation initiatives, ensuring operational effectiveness and supporting IT Service Management maturity.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Background in IT Operations, Service Management, Application Support, or related IT fields.
• Experience with monitoring tools and operational dashboards.
• Knowledge of Incident Management, Change Management, and IT Service Management processes.
• Familiarity with service support processes and operational governance.
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of ITIL principles and service management best practices.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working under pressure in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system health and performance using operational dashboards and tools.
• Respond to incidents and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with service owners to enhance reliability and reduce operational risk.
• Maintain and optimize operational processes, including incident and change management.
• Manage access management processes for critical business platforms.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve service delivery.
• Support the development of IT Service Management practices and operational governance.
• Contribute to operational reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document operational procedures and ensure compliance with standards.
